Quick Tips for Plumbing and Heating
Sometimes, especially where plumbing and heating are concerned, a little tip can go a long way. We hope these will be helpful - and healthful for your home or business, too.
- Shut off your main water valve when you'll be away for an extended period.
- When away in the winter, leave your thermostat set between 55-60 degrees.
- Have an annual plumbing and heating check up.
- Use Bioclean in your drains and toilets monthly to keep everything open and working.
- Shut off your washing machine valve after each use.
- For a pinhole leak, tape it or place a piece of rubber around the pipe with a hose clamp.
- Winterize your outdoor shower and spigots by shutting off and draining them down.
